Podiatry Clinic Concepts to inspire you

Our surroundings can determine how comfortable we feel. A practice interior with a sense of well-being is therefore a major factor in your work being successful and your patients leaving happy.

Harmonious furnishing for podiatry practices

It happens for each new treatment: the moment patients enter your practice. The doors open and reveal the environment in which you welcome your patients, make appointments, answer questions and, of course, do one thing above all: treat them. How your work is perceived does not depend solely on the successful outcomes per se. The greater the sense of well-being of your patients, the more positively they perceive the relief of their symptoms. For this reason, it is not only your professional competence that is decisive in terms of success: it is much more the combination of you and your patient. Therefore, you should emphasise harmonious furnishings that are friendly and open. Coordinated colours leave a good impression and make the visit to your practice all the more memorable. Your furnishings can affect you much more than that: It can be a real support for you. With the right furniture, work is simply better, more efficient and easier. Sometimes it can be affected by small things. Are the castors of your cabinet lockable? If so, a swivelling axel can be created with a click, which will do you a wonderful service during treatment and ensure that products and instruments are always within reach at your desired side. As you can see: equipment is everything.

Your four most important areas

Reception

The reception is the face of your practice. It creates trust and gives your patients the feeling of being welcome. First impressions count - especially at reception. Friendly furnishings are particularly important here. Make sure to store documents and cables well so that everything is tidy. The clean look underlines your competence and gives your patients the feeling that they are in the right place with you.

Waiting area

You can integrate the waiting area into the reception area or - depending on the space available - place it in a separate room. Even if the length of stay in the waiting area is sometimes quite short, it is worth investing here in the presentation of displays, posters and flyers. The topics presented can certainly serve as conversation starters and strengthen your position as a professional advisor in the long term.

Clinic rooms

The heart of your clinic: your treatment rooms are where you practice what you are trained in. You can always determine your favourite style. Even more important than the colour concept is, of course, the furniture itself: your daily work lives and dies with it. Where do you find what, where is your podiatry drill, which treatment chair do you choose? There are countless possible combinations.

Hygiene/Decontamination Room:

Hygiene is essential. In order to separate the preparation of your instruments from the treatment and at the same time create space for technology and all necessary materials, it makes sense to dedicate a separate space to the hygiene process. Here you will find a dirty and a clean area. Also think of a hygiene workflow that shows you all the necessary steps of the decontamination.
